Michael was editor of Plays and Players and then theatre critic for The Observer and Daily Mail, and a theatrical obituary writer for The Guardian.
He has published a dozen books including a biography of Maggie Smith and a History of British Theatre.
His vast knowledge of the theatre and its characters will be revealed as he talks to Prof Mark White, historian and biographer of Kenneth Branagh.
