The Library is currently closed to comply with safety regulations

Books can be dropped back in the metal box by the gate,  in a bag please! .

We look forward to being back and open to all!  Keep reading.

Summer Events in the Garden 2021




We are delighted to announce that  The Hampstead Summer Festival is promoting 4 events this summer, all in the beautiful garden at Keats Library.

  • Saturday 26th June - THE HAMPSTEAD ART FAIR returns on a more intimate scale. 11-6pm
    • Entry is Free
    • Displays of Art for sale
    • Craft Stalls
    • Art Actvities
    • "Colour The Heath" competiton entries
    • School Competition entries
    • Delicious freshly cooked food; wine bar; ice cream


  • Sunday 27th June - Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare.
    • A special version on the play designed for outdoor audiences.
    • Performances as 2pm and at 5pm - Tickets are £25 ( Concessions available at £15/£20)
    • This company, Drama Impact, staged Much Ado About Nothing in 2019  to much acclaim from the sold out audiences.

  • Saturday 3 July - 2pm:  The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden on the occasion of the 150 Anniversary of her birth
    • A Capella folk group Broomdasher perform their new musical show featuring trandional folk songs to bring the book to life.

  • 4th July Keats Library Family GARDEN PARTY is BACK!   2-4pm.
    • Entry is free
    • Provsional Programme:
      • Bird of Prey on show and demonstrations
      • Storytelling with The Mystical Fairy
      • Rhyme-time with Sasha  from 2.00 – 2.45pm
      • Kids’ Art Project  from Orly
      • Children’s books for sale at bargain prices
      • Giant Chess with Bryan
      • Tea and delicious treats provided  by Gail’s to be enjoyed in the lawn; wine bar

The  Hampstead Summer Festival Charity Beneficiaries, Hampstead School of Art and Keats Community Library.  As we have been unable to fundraise for nearly 6 months we would really appreciate your generosity.
