The Hampstead Summer Festival 2024

WE are more than half way though the Hampstead Summer Festival

It's all free except the Outdoor Play which is run by a professional company.

The Art Street in Keats Grove is still live for all to see.

The  Art Fair on the 23rd June  was the best attended since we started to hold these in Keats House Garden. Weather was perfect; dry and warm.  The Hampstead School of Art sold more picturues than ever and the stall holders were very happy.

Much Ado About Nothing. on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th June at 7pm was was enjoyed by  even larger audiences and there are  2 more performances at 2pm and 7pm on 27th July  -  We recommended booking as performance have sold out and numbers are limited . So sad to turn people away.

To book here is the link to the organiser   Click HERE

The Keats Community Library Garden Party on the 30th June was another super day.  The sprinking of rain in the morning only inconvenieced the organisers and by the time we opened it was glorious.

More people than ever. Special mention to Otolenghi who provided a selection of lovely cakes, which were all rapidly eaten and to TK International who sponsor the day.

"Best  Garden Party we have been to for ages"

Still to come: The (really) Big Fair returns on the whole length of Heath Street on 7th July from 12 -5pm.

Music to boogie to and even better stalls selling interesting items.  Food consumption justified by the variety of the stand offers.

And the July  perfomances of Much Ado ablout Nothing in July - see above

This Festival contributes the largest single share of our funding and is vital to keep the Library going. The other beneficiary the Hampstead School of Art also share with us and can bring its art and artist to even more people.

Many thanks to all who help in big or small ways to make it happen especially to Osbornes, the Prime Sponsor and to the many individual sponsors - too many to list here but see the website link HERE .
